For our Manufacturing Control team, which is mainly occupied with PLC programming and visualization, we are currently looking for an Automation Engineer with a passion for automation.

Projects from A-Z, this is how we do it!

At Contec we realize projects from A to Z. As an Automation Engineer you are not only responsible for the technical aspect: communication with the customer and the start-up of a wide range of projects are also part of your duties.

Develop a function design specification (FDS) in which you analyse the client's assignment (URD) and find the most optimal solution to meeting these requirements;
Develop the PLC programming and visualization (HMI interfaces) as per your approved FDS. This could be by the clients standard or Contec own standards;
Ensure the connection and data exchange of the PLCs with parent systems in collaboration with our MOM / MES department;
Preparation and internal office simulation with clients (FAT). Clients are invited to our office or remotely to participate;
Commissioning and start-up on site to test your work in reality (SAT) and fine-tune it;
Compiling the required documentation needed to meet project milestones. FDS, Operator/training manuals, etc;
Provide aftercare support as required by the project;
Liaising with the project team and clients to complete the project as required.

You always do all this in close collaboration with your project coordinator and your team.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree Industrial Engineer, preferably Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, or you are equivalent through experience;
You have a driver’s license;
You speak and write English fluently;
Can work both autonomously and as part of a team;
Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving;

Proficient in MS Office;
Knowledge of either of the following automation technologies is required:

Projects from A-Z, this is how we do it!

At Contec we realize projects from A to Z. As an Electrical engineer you will be involved in our current projects. You are responsible for the following matters, among others:

Designing of schematics, cabinet layouts and component selection in accordance with customer specifications and legal requirements;
Supervision of projects according to the agreed scope and planning;
Assistance during factory acceptance tests (FAT), field testing, commissioning & start-ups;
Compiling the required documentation needed to meet project milestones;
Liaising with the project team and clients to complete the project as required;
You attend follow-up meetings with the client. You ensure that you are always well prepared for these and report afterwards so that internal and external parties are constantly informed of the project progress.

You always do this in close collaboration with your project coordinator and your team.

You’ve recently obtained a bachelor’s/master’s degree in industrial engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, or you are equivalent through experience;

Projecten van A-Z, dat doen we zo!

Bij Contec realiseren we projecten van A tot Z. Als Automation Engineer ben je niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor het technische aspect: ook de tussentijdse communicatie met de klant en de opstart van een grote range aan projecten behoren tot jouw takenpakket.

Je start met het uitwerken van een functionele analyse (FDS) waarbij je de opdracht van de klant (URD) analyseert en hiervoor de meest optimale oplossing zoekt;
Vervolgens ga je aan de slag met de PLC-programmatie en visualisatie (HMI interfaces). Hiervoor gebruik je de standaard van de klant of onze eigen Contec Software Standaard;
Je zorgt ook voor de connectie en data-uitwisseling van de PLC’s met bovenliggende systemen. Dit in samenwerking met onze MOM/MES afdeling;
Na de voorbereiding en interne testen op kantoor, simuleren we tijdens een FAT alles samen met de klant. Hiervoor worden ze uitgenodigd in onze kantoren, maar het kan net zo goed via remote sessies gebeuren;
Vervolgens ga je on site bij de klant om je werk in realiteit te testen (SAT) en op punt te zetten;
Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het maken van een document met alle technische details (DDS), het schrijven van de handleidingen en het geven van trainingen aan de operatoren en technici;
Indien de klant het wenst leveren we ook nog de nazorg voor de geleverde services.

Dit alles doe je steeds in nauwe samenwerking met je projectcoördinator en je team.

After preparation and internal tests at the office, we simulate everything together with the customer during a FAT. They are invited to our offices for this, but it can just as easily be done via remote sessions.
Then you go on site at the customer to test your work in reality (SAT) and fine-tune it.
A DDS, drawing up manuals and training for operators and technicians are also part of the job description.
If the customer wishes, we also provide aftercare for the services we provided them.

For our Manufacturing Control team, which is mainly occupied with PLC programming and visualization, we are currently looking for an Automation Engineer with a passion for automation.

Projects from A-Z, this is how we do it!

At Contec we realize projects from A to Z. As an Automation Engineer you are not only responsible for the technical aspect: communication with the customer and the start-up of a wide range of projects are also part of your duties.

Develop a function design specification (FDS) in which you analyze the client's assignment (URD) and find the most optimal solution to meeting these requirements;
Develop the PLC programming and visualization (HMI interfaces) as per your approved FDS. This could be by the clients standard or Contec own standards;
Ensure the connection and data exchange of the PLCs with parent systems in collaboration with our MOM / MES department;
Preparation and internal office simulation with clients (FAT). Clients are invited to our office or remotely to participate;
Commissioning and start-up on site to test your work in reality (SAT) and fine-tune it;
Compiling the required documentation needed to meet project milestones. FDS, Operator/training manuals, etc;
Provide aftercare support as required by the project;
Liaising with the project team and clients to complete the project as required.

You always do all this in close collaboration with your project coordinator and your team.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree Industrial Automation, preferably Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics (or you hvae equivalent work experience;
A first work experience in automation engineering is a plus;
You have a valid driver’s license;
You speak and write English fluently;

You take a proactive and logical approach to problem-solving;

Vervolgens ga je aan de slag met de PLC-programmatie en visualisatie (HMI interfaces). Hiervoor gebruik je de standaard van de klant of onze eigen Contec Software Standaard;
Je zorgt ook voor de connectie en data-uitwisseling van de PLC’s met bovenliggende systemen. Dit in samenwerking met onze MOM/MES afdeling;
Na de voorbereiding en interne testen op kantoor, simuleren we tijdens een FAT alles samen met de klant. Hiervoor worden ze uitgenodigd in onze kantoren, maar het kan net zo goed via remote sessies gebeuren;
Vervolgens ga je on site bij de klant om je werk in realiteit te testen (SAT) en op punt te zetten;
Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het maken van een document met alle technische details (DDS), het schrijven van de handleidingen en het geven van trainingen aan de operatoren en technici;
Indien de klant het wenst leveren we ook nog de nazorg voor de geleverde services.

Uitwerken van schema’s, kastlayouts en componentselecties;
Begeleiding van projecten volgens de afgesproken scope en planning;
Opvolging van projecten volgens de specificaties van de klant en de wettelijke normeringen;
Je stelt de documenten samen die nodig zijn om het project in de verschillende stadia succesvol af te ronden;

Projects from A-Z, this is how we do it!

At Contec we realize projects from A to Z. As an Electrical Engineer you will be involved in our current projects. You are responsible for the following matters, among others:

Designing of schematics, cabinet layouts and component selection in accordance with customer specifications and legal requirements;
Supervision of projects according to the agreed scope and planning;
Assistance during factory acceptance tests (FAT), field testing, commissioning & start-ups;
Compiling the required documentation needed to meet project milestones;
Liaising with the project team and clients to complete the project as required.
You attend follow-up meetings with the client. You ensure that you are always well prepared for these and report afterwards so that internal and external parties are constantly informed of the project progress.

You always do all this in close collaboration with your project coordinator and your team.

You’ve obtained a bachelor’s/master’s degree in industrial engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, or you are equivalent through experience;
Can work both autonomously and as part of a team;

Wat zal jij zoal doen?

Bij Contec realiseren we projecten van A tot Z. In uw functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ondersteunen en bevorderen van onze veiligheidscultuur.

Als hands-on en leergierige collega krijg je een zeer divers takenpakket toegewezen zoals o.a. het volledige beheer van het Gezondheids- en Veiligheidsmanagementsysteem (ISO 45001) en het beheer van alle wettelijke zaken;
je draagt proactief bij aan de wettelijke taken en informeert over veranderende of nieuwe wetgeving en geeft hier toelichting aan wettelijke organen en lokaal management;
Je onderhoudt contacten met de Arbeidsgeneeskundige dienst, leveranciers en klanten.
Je zorgt voor het onthaal van nieuwe medewerkers en het beheer van de nodige PBM’s. Toolboxen uitwerken, rapporten opmaken, het beheer van veiligheidsopleidingen en het mee uitwerken van een welzijnsbeleid…Geen dag ziet er hetzelfde uit;
Je werkt hoofdzakelijk vanop kantoor maar je bent ook regelmatig on site of in één van onze buitenlandse kantoren terug te vinden;
Daarnaast sta je ook in voor de opvolging van kleine renovatie- en onderhoudswerken voor onze kantoren in België.

Indien nodig neem je deel aan vergaderingen met de klant waarin zij hun behoeftes en verwachtingen verduidelijken. Tijdens deze meetings neem je de rol van technisch specialist op en luister je naar de vragen en ideëen;
Je kan lastenboeken lezen en interpreteren;
Je contacteert klanten in de offertefase wanneer er nog onduidelijke specificaties zijn;
Je hebt contact met mogelijke leveranciers in verband met prijzen en technische specificities;
Voor detailvragen buiten (en binnen) je eigen specialisatie kan je terugvallen op de projectingenieurs van de verschillende departementen;

Ter uitbreiding van ons Sales team zijn wij op zoek naar een Sales/Marketing Officer ter ondersteuning van de internationale Contec groep.

Je bent onder meer verantwoordelijk voor volgende zaken:

Sector- en marktmonitoring
- Je analyseert de sector waarin Contec actief is en pikt in op tendensen;
- Je doet regelmatig een concurrentieanalyse;
- Strategische marktanalyse m.b.t. (potentiele) klanten, competitie en optimale positionering;
- Follow up en creatie van een waardevol ecosysteem (leveranciers, partners en memberships).

Marketing support voor sales
- Je staat in voor de salesbeurzen: administratie, beurswanden, communicatie, bezoek aan potentieel interessante beurzen;
- Je houdt het promotioneel drukwerk up-to-date (company brochure, flyers,…);
- Je voorziet het salesteam van de nodige presentaties, beeldmateriaal,…;
- Je schrijft case studies uit op basis van input van het sales team;
- Je werkt samen met je marketing collega aan algemene marketingprojecten zoals o.a.: de website, social media, events, nieuwsbrief,…

Sales support
- Je ondersteunt het sales team in de opmaak van offertes;
- Je zorgt regelmatig voor een update van de sales templates;
- Je houdt ons CRM-systeem up-to-date.

Je werkt hierbij nauw samen met het internationale salesteam, een marketing collega en je rapporteert aan de Sales Director.

Passie voor automatisatie? Wij zoeken jou!

Je bent in het bezit van een diploma in de richting handelswetenschappen, handelsingenieur of gelijkaardig;
Je kan zowel autonoom als in teamverband werken;
Analytisch denken en nauwkeurig werken is voor jou geen probleem;
Je denkt graag oplossingsgericht en neemt initiatief;
Je bent communicatief en neemt graag contact op met klanten, leveranciers of collega’s om zo informatie te verzamelen in het kader van jouw project;
Je bent sterk in het organiseren van je werk. Je stelt prioriteiten en respecteert deadlines;
Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels;
Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B;
Je kan vlot overweg met MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
Kennis van Canva en/of Adobe is een pluspunt.
